POWDER COATING

What is Powder Coating?

pcPowder Coating is an advanced method of applying a decrotive and protective finish to a wide range of metal products. Powder Coating is powder paint. It contains no solvents and is applied in its dry form directly to the surface of the metal to be coated. Each powder particle contains the necessary resins, pigments, modifiers, and curing agents.

Powder is electrostatically applied. The powder particles are charged and applied directly to the grounded part. The charged powder adheres to the surface until it enters a curing oven. When the part is entered into the curing oven, the powder melts, bonds, and cures to the desired surface. The end product is the coating which provides a uniform, durable, high quality finish.
